Monitor SRDF/Metro Smart DR

To monitor SRDF/Metro Smart DR environments, you can use the list, show, and query commands with the following syntax: 

symmdr -sid <ArrayID> 
                    [-i <Interval>] [-c <Count>] 
                    list [-tb]



symmdr -sid <ArrayID> -name <EnvironmentName> 
            [-i <Interval>] [-c <Count>]
            show [-detail]



symmdr -sid <ArrayID> -name <EnvironmentName>
            [-i <Interval>] [-c <Count>]
            query [-tb]
where:
  • -name: specifies the name that uniquely identifies the Smart DR environment on all three arrays.
  • -i: specifies the interval, in seconds, to wait, either between successive iterations of a list, show or query operation or between attempts to acquire an exclusive lock on the host database or on the local and/or remote arrays for control operations.
  • -c: specifies the number (count) of times to repeat the operation, displaying results appropriate to the operation at each iteration.
  • -tb: used with list or query to display capacity and invalids in Terabytes.
