Dell Mobile Connect users may receive an error: This app is not compatible with this device, when attempting to download from the Microsoft Store.

Cause

This error may be due to incompatibility of the operating system or platform.

Resolution

Operating System:

Dell Mobile Connect Windows app is available for select Windows 10 operating systems:

  • Windows 10 Home
  • Windows 10 Pro
Note: Dell Mobile Connect Windows app is not compatible with Windows 10 Enterprise.

Platform:

Dell Mobile Connect Windows app can only be installed on the following Dell platforms:

  • Inspiron
  • Vostro
  • G-Series
  • XPS
Note: Any non-listed platform is not compatible with the Dell Mobile Connect Windows app.
