Symptoms

Chyba při spouštění uživatelského rozhraní (UI) konzole NMC (NetWorker Management Console): 
An error occured while validating user credentials. Verify that the NetWorker Authentication service is running
[Could not resolve host

Je spuštěna ověřovací služba.

Balíček serveru NMC se instaluje na svůj samostatný systém odděleně od serveru NetWorker.

Konfigurační soubor serveru NMC gstd.conf vede ke správnému ověřovacímu serveru:
  • Linux: /opt/lgtonmc/etc/gstd.conf
  • Windows: C:\Program Files\EMC NetWorker\Management\GST\etc\gstd.conf
  • Příkaz ping a nslookup vrátí správné názvy hostitelů a IP adresy.
 

Cause

Selhání spuštění bylo způsobeno chybou v okně spouštěče NMC. V části "Connect to NMC server, enter NMC server or IP address" byl místo serveru NMC vybrán název hostitele serveru NetWorker.

Resolution

V okně spouštěče prostředí NetWorker Runtime Environment (NRE) zadejte název hostitele serveru NMC.

Zadáním hostitele do tohoto pole jej uložíte do souboru seznamů hostitelů NRE. Tento problém lze odstranit přejmenováním nebo odstraněním souboru C:\Program Files\NRE\config\hostlists.
