NetWorker: Impossibile avviare l'interfaccia utente di NetWorker Management Console, verificare che il servizio di autenticazione NetWorker sia in esecuzione

Symptoms

Errore durante l'avvio dell'interfaccia utente di NetWorker Management Console (NMC): 
An error occured while validating user credentials. Verify that the NetWorker Authentication service is running
[Could not resolve host  
Server message Make sure the server is running]

Il servizio di autenticazione è in esecuzione.

Il pacchetto del server NMC viene installato sul proprio sistema standalone separato dal server NetWorker.

Il file di configurazione del server NMC gstd.conf porta al server di autenticazione corretto:
  • Linux: /opt/lgtonmc/etc/gstd.conf
  • Windows: C:\Programmi\EMC NetWorker\Management\GST\etc\gstd.conf
  • Ping e nslookup restituiscono i nomi host e gli indirizzi IP corretti
 

Cause

L'avvio non è riuscito a causa di un errore nella finestra NMC Launcher. In "Connect to NMC server, enter NMC server or IP address", è stato selezionato il nome host del server NetWorker al posto del server NMC.

Resolution

Immettere il nome host del server NMC nella finestra di avvio di NetWorker Runtime Environment (NRE).

L'inserimento di un host in questo campo lo archivia nel file NRE host lists. Questa operazione può essere cancellata rinominando o eliminando il file C:\Program Files\NRE\config\hostlists.
