Symptoms

NMC(NetWorker Management Console)ユーザー インターフェイス(UI)の起動中にエラーが発生しました。 
An error occured while validating user credentials. Verify that the NetWorker Authentication service is running
[Could not resolve host  
Server message Make sure the server is running]

認証サービスが実行中です。

NMCサーバー パッケージは、NetWorkerサーバーとは別の独自のスタンドアロン システムにインストールされます。

NMCサーバー構成ファイル gstd.conf は、正しい認証サーバーになります。
  • Linuxの場合/opt/lgtonmc/etc/gstd.conf
  • Windowsの場合：C:\Program Files\EMC NetWorker\Management\GST\etc\gstd.conf
  • Pingとnslookupが正しいホスト名とIPアドレスを返す
 

Cause

NMCランチャー ウィンドウにエラーが発生したため、起動に失敗しました。[Connect to NMC server, enter NMC server or IP address]で、NMCサーバーの代わりにNetWorkerサーバーのホスト名が選択されました。

Resolution

NRE(NetWorker Runtime Environment)ランチャー ウィンドウにNMCサーバーのホスト名を入力します。

このフィールドにホストを入力すると、NREホスト リスト ファイルに格納されます。これをクリアするには、C:\Program Files\NRE\config\hostlistsファイルの名前を変更または削除します。
