There is an error in the booting figure as following which is indicating slot1 BCM5719 network card:

PCIe error

Troubleshooting:

  1. BIOS and iDRAC firmware is the latest version.
  2. User has multiple unit servers, but only this server has the bus fatal error. Perform an AC power-cycle, and the issue remains.
  3. Reseat the Broadcom NetXtreme BCM5719, and the issue remains.

Cause

There is a BCM5719 network card unstable issue occurred.

Resolution

Follow the recommended actions in the event itself.

Do one or all the steps below:

  1. Ensure the device, BIOS, and iDRAC are updated to the latest firmware.
  2. If a batch issue happened, update the OS version for patches or hotfixes. Update the device drivers.
  3. Perform an AC power-cycle.
  4. If possible, ensure that the cables are properly routed and connected. Remove and reinstall the device.
  5. Disable the slot1 in BIOS or the best way is to swap with other PCIe slot for testing. If the issue follows the Broadcom NetXtreme BCM5719, you may want to consider replacing this network card.
