Removing the expansion card riser
Prerequisites

Disconnect the PERC card LED cable.
NOTE: : This step is applicable only to the cabled hard drive systems.
- Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
- Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.
Steps
- Lift and rotate the expansion card riser latch to open it.
- Holding the touch points, lift the expansion card riser from the riser connector on the system board.
