Modify http services settings.

Syntax

isi http services modify <service-id> (PowerScaleUI | Platform-API-External
      | RAN | SWIFT | RemoteService)
        [--enabled <boolean>]
        [{--verbose | -v}]
        [{--force | -f}]
        [{--help | -h}]

Required Privileges

ISI_PRIV_HTTP.

Options

--service-id={PowerScaleUI | Platform-API-External | RAN | RemoteService}
Specifies an HTTP service. Valid values are:

Service id Description Results when disabled
PowerScaleUI The PowerScale Web Administration UI (Web UI). The Web UI is not available.
Platform-API-External The external interface to the Platform API (PAPI). API queries originating external to the cluster are not accepted. The WebUI is not available. Internal platform APIs continue to operate.
RAN The RESTful access to namespace. Web UI pages that depend on REST are not available:
  • Remote file browser
  • File system explorer
RemoteService The remote support service interface (rsapi) Remote support service (SRS) management capabilities in the UI are not available.
--enabled <boolean>
Enables or disables the named service. May also enable or disable another dependent service, as described in the following table.

PowerScaleUI When you enable the PowerScaleUI service, the system also enables the Platform-API-External service. The Web UI requires the PAPI for all functions.
NOTE:When you disable the PowerScaleUI, the system does not automatically disable the Platform-API-External service. The PAPI can continue to service other external requests when the Web UI is disabled.
Platform-API-External When you disable the Platform-API-External service, the system also disables the PowerScaleUI service. The Web UI cannot operate without the PAPI.
NOTE: When you enable the Platform-API-External service, the system does not automatically enable the PowerScaleUI service.
--force | -f
Do not ask confirmation.
--verbose
Displays more detailed information.
--help
Display help for this command.
