IDPA Deployment of IDPA on DP5300 fails with: -ddadapter.DataDomainPlugin: Failed to execute: elicense update

Symptoms


During deployment of DP5300, it fails at 9% with Error: Failed to configure the license.

In the ACM server.log you see the following error:

Cause

This is a license issue. DP5300 does not support cloud tier, but the license has a cloud tier license included.

Resolution

Get in touch with the licensing team and have the cloud tier section removed from the license. 
Once this is removed, you can re-run the deployment with the new license.
