Symptoms

En /var/log/brs/upgrade/upgrademgr.log, verá una entrada similar a;

2023-05-11T07:20:36.065Z INFO [] [upgrademgr-task-executor-1] [][][][TRACE_ID:b7311cb4e71eed3d][] com.emc.brs.upgrademgr.service.PuppetRunner - ESC[mNotice: /Stage[main]/Ecdm::Component::Bin-execution/Exec[run bin file execution]/returns: Not enough space left in /tmp (1475488 KB) to decompress /data01/brs/upgrade/vProxy/vproxy-upgrade-19.13.0-20.bin (1888372 KB)ESC[0m

 

Cause

Para realizar la actualización del dispositivo PPDM, debemos tener 8 GB de espacio libre en la partición /tmp del PPDM.

Resolution

Versiones afectadas: Este comportamiento puede ocurrir en cualquier PPDM.

Versión corregida: 19.14

Solución alternativa: 
Ejecute los comandos para identificar los archivos más grandes en la partición /.
Elimine estos archivos para liberar espacio e intente la actualización nuevamente.

sudo find /home -type f -printf '%s %p\n' | sort -nr | head -10
sudo find /tmp -type f -printf '%s %p\n' | sort -nr | head -10
