BIOS Update Fails with Kaspersky Endpoint Security Installed

Symptoms
BIOS updates may fail on a computer with the following message: "Your PC needs to be restarted to finish setting up this device: dbutildrv2 device"
Affected Platforms:
- OptiPlex 3000 Micro
- OptiPlex 5000 Micro
- Latitude 5430
Cause
This is due to the Kaspersky Endpoint Security installed on the computer.
Resolution
Remove the Kaspersky Endpoint Security, and the BIOS installs without issue. To remove the software, see Drivers and Downloads FAQs. Alternatively, go to Kaspersky for a patch to resolve the issue without removing the software.
