Installing the HDMI module
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the HDMI module and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Using a screwdriver, remove the HDMI module cover from the chassis.
NOTE:This step is applicable only when the HDMI module is being installed for the first time.
- Connect the HDMI-module cable to the connector (VIDEO) on the system board.
- Insert the HDMI module into the slot on the chassis.
- Replace the two (M3x3) screws that secure the HDMI module to the chassis.
