Removing the VGA module
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the side cover.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the VGA module and provides a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Remove the two (M2x5) cross-type screws that secure the VGA module to the chassis.
- Disconnect the VGA-module cable from the connector on the system board.
- Lift the VGA module off the system board.
