Removing the HDMI module
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the side cover.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the HDMI module and provides a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Remove the two (M3x3) screws that secure the HDMI module to the chassis.
- Disconnect the HDMI-module cable from the connector on the system board.
- Lift the HDMI module off the system board.
