Removing the intrusion switch
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the side cover.

Steps
- Remove the intrusion-switch cable from the routing guides on the chassis.
- Disconnect the intrusion-switch cable from the connector on the system board.
- Slide and lift the Intrusion switch away from the computer.
