Removing Dell Ultra Speed Drive Gen3 card
Prerequisites

About this task
The following images indicate the location of the Dell Ultra Speed Drive Gen3 card and provide a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Pull the tab to open the PCIe door.
- Press down on the release tab and lift the Dell Ultra Speed Drive Gen3 card off the system board.
- Turn the Dell Ultra Speed Drive Gen3 card over.
- Remove the (M2x5) screw that secures the M.2 2230 or 2280 Solid-state drive to the Dell Ultra Speed Drive Gen3 card.
- Turn the Dell Ultra Speed Drive Gen3 card over.
- Remove the M.2 Solid-state drive standoff nut from the M.2 2230 or 2280 Solid-state drive.
- Slide the M.2 2230 or 2280 solid state drive out of the M.2 2230 or 2280 slot on the Dell Ultra Speed Drive Gen3 card.
