  • NMDA-DB2-Backups schlagen mit dem folgenden Fehler fehl, der in der NetWorker Management Console (NMC) gemeldet wird:
Unable to obtain the user credentials from the lockbox due to the following error: 'Authentication denied'.ERROR: Error retrieving password from the Networker lockbox.

  • Diese Ausgabe kann anhand der Details der Aktion Policy->Workflow->Backup beobachtet werden. Wählen Sie das fehlgeschlagene Backup aus und klicken Sie auf Show Messages.

Cause

Das Root-Konto auf dem DB2-Client hat keine Berechtigungen für den Zugriff auf die Lockbox-Datei.

Resolution

1. Melden Sie sich bei der NetWorker Management Console als Administratorkonto (oder als Konto mit Berechtigungen für Anwendungsadministratoren) an.
2. Navigieren Sie zu Server->Lockboxes.
3. Öffnen Sie im Fenster Lockboxes die Lockbox-Eigenschaften des DB2-Clients.
4. Aktualisieren Sie auf der Registerkarte Allgemein das Feld "Benutzer" so, dass es "user=root,host=client_name" enthält.

5. Speichern Sie die Änderungen, indem Sie auf OK klicken.
6. Führen Sie das Backup erneut aus.
