Symptoms

  • NMDA DB2バックアップが失敗し、NMC(NetWorker管理コンソール)で次のエラーが報告されます。
Unable to obtain the user credentials from the lockbox due to the following error: 'Authentication denied'.ERROR: Error retrieving password from the Networker lockbox.

NMDA backup failed.

72104:nsrdasv: ERROR: Error retrieving password from the Networker lockbox.

Cause

DB2クライアントのrootアカウントには、ロックボックス ファイルにアクセスする権限がありません。

Resolution

1.管理者アカウント(またはアプリケーション管理者権限を持つアカウント)
としてNetWorker管理コンソールにログインします。2.Server->Lockboxes に移動します。
3.Lockboxes ウィンドウで、DB2クライアントのロックボックス プロパティを開きます。
4.[ 全般 ]タブで、[ユーザー]フィールドに「user=root,host=client_name」を含むフィールドを更新します。

5.[ OK ]をクリックして変更を保存します。
6.バックアップの再実行
