Symptoms

  • NMDA DB2 备份失败，并在 NetWorker Management Console （NMC） 中报告以下错误：
Unable to obtain the user credentials from the lockbox due to the following error: 'Authentication denied'.ERROR: Error retrieving password from the Networker lockbox.

NMDA backup failed.

72104:nsrdasv: ERROR: Error retrieving password from the Networker lockbox.

Cause

DB2 客户端上的 root 帐户无权访问密码箱文件。

Resolution

1.以管理员帐户（或具有应用程序管理员权限的帐户）身份登录 NetWorker 管理控制台。
2.转至 Server->Lockboxes 。
3.在 密码箱 窗口中 ，打开 DB2 客户端的密码箱属性。
4.在 常规 选项卡中，更新 用户 字段以包含“user=root，host=client_name”

5.通过单击 确定 保存更改。
6.重新运行备份
