Procedure

  1. Remove the hinge caps and lift them off the hinges. Image: Removing the display hinges
  2. Turn the display assembly over.
  3. Remove the display cable from the routing guide on the display back-cover.
  4. Remove the display-board cable from the routing guide on the display back-cover.
  5. Remove the antenna cables from the routing guide on the display back-cover. Image: Removing the display hinges
  6. Remove the 14 screws (M2.5x3) that secure the hinges to the display back-cover.
