Manually Collecting Data For Enclosures — M1000e

To collect the data, connect to the M1000e using SSH or Telnet.
To collect manually:
  1. Start putty and enter the hostname or IP address.
  2. Enter the login credentials of the M1000e at the prompt.
  3. Run the following commands:
    • racadm getsysinfo
    • racadm getversion
    • racadm getversion
    • racadm getsvctag
    • racadm getslotname
    • racadm getniccfg
    • racadm getmacaddress -a
    • racadm getioinfo
    • racadm getdcinfo
    • racadm getdcinfo -n
    • racadm getmodinfo
    • racadm getfanreqinfo
    • racadm getflexaddr
    • racadm getpminfo
    • racadm getsensorinfo
    • racadm getactiveerrors
    • racadm getpbinfo
    • racadm getniccfg -m server-1
    • racadm getniccfg -m server-2
    • racadm getniccfg -m server-3
    • racadm getniccfg -m server-4
    • racdump
  4. Capture the console output.
    • NOTE: On SAN having many M1000e, you need to increase the default time out value of 5 minutes (in milliseconds). This value ( enclosure.timeout.value) can be modified in the Enclosure.properties file located in the Lasso install directory.
