Deploy Dell PowerFlex v3.6.x

Download installation packages

Download and extract the complete software package for this version.

1. From the Online Support site (https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/scaleio/drivers), download the complete software for this version.
2. Extract the packages from the downloaded file.
3. From the PowerFlex <version> Complete VMware SW directory, save the following software artifacts. These artifacts must be saved on the server that will be used to register the vSphere PowerFlex plug-in and to upload the OVA template.
   NOTE: PowerCLI from VMware must also be installed on this server.
   1. PowerFlex <version> ESX
   2. PowerFlex <version> vSphere plug-in
      The PowerFlex plug-in will be used to deploy PowerFlex on the servers in the system.

      NOTE: The SDC package for ESXi 7 cannot be installed in an automated process by the PowerFlex plug-in.
4. From the PowerFlex <version> Windows directory, save the software artifacts for the PowerFlex GUI.
   The GUI will be installed and used after deployment to configure some of the system features.
