Modify the SCSI controller type of the guest virtual machine
To configure the SCSI controller type to use a Paravirtual SCSI (PVSCSI) adapter, perform the following steps for each guest using VxFlex OS storage.

NOTE: Before performing the following steps, consult VMware documentation to verify that your guest operating system supports Paravirtual SCSI adapters.
Steps
- Power off the guest virtual machine.
- Open the vSphere client, and right click on the guest.
- Select Edit Settings.
- Select SCSI Controller 0.
- Click Change Type.
- Select VMware Paravirtual.
- Click OK.
