Configuring SNMP v3 settings allows devices on your network to send alerts to
secure connect gateway for case creation or reporting.
You must configure SNMP v3 settings if you have systems that use SNMP v3.
Steps
Go to
Settings > Environment configuration > Gateway configuration > SNMP v3 Settings.
Select
Enable SNMP v3.
NOTE:SNMP v1 or v2 is used by default if you do not select the SNMP v3 option.
Enter the SNMP v3 details according to the security level:
If you select
No authentication, no privacy, enter the username.
If you select
Authentication without privacy, enter the username, select the authentication type, and enter the authentication password.
If you select
Authentication with privacy, enter the username, select the authentication type, and enter the authentication password. Select the privacy type and enter the privacy password.
Click
Apply.
