crypto cert validate

Validates a certificate including the certificate chain.

Syntax
crypto cert validate {ca-cert cert-path | host-cert cert-path | file filepath}
Parameters
  • ca-cert cert-path—Enter the name of the CA certificate already installed in the trust store.
  • host-cert cert-path—Enter the name of the host certificate already installed on the system.
  • file file-path—Enter the local path where the certificate is stored. You can enter a full path or a relative path; for example, home://s4048-001-cert.pem or usb:/s4048-001-cert.pem.

Validation includes performing revocation checking of the certificate. This command validates a certificate, either installed or in the local file system, but does not change the system operation or behavior.
