Column View

The Column View of the configuration viewer comprises the following:
Top pane Displays the various categories and subcategories of data as cascading columns. In the default view, the top pane displays a list of categories within a single column. Some of the categories in the list may have subcategories. If you select a category that contains a subcategory, a new column with a list of subcategories is displayed. Based on the levels of available subcategories, newer columns may be displayed. A category may display a warning or critical icon to indicate the health status roll-up of its subcategories.
Divider Is displayed between the top and bottom panes. You can click and drag the divider to the top or bottom to increase or decrease the viewable area of the bottom section.
Bottom pane Displays the data available for the category or subcategory that is currently selected in the top pane. This pane includes a navigation trail, which you can click to navigate backward on the current trail.

  • NOTE: If you switch to the Tree View after navigating across several subcategories, the currently selected category is displayed in the Tree View .
