Configuring AES encryption or password protection for manual backups
When you perform a manual backup on Windows with the NetWorker User program, you can specify AES encryption or password protection.

Configure a password on the Windows host:
- Open the NetWorker User program.
- Select .
- Type the password in the Password dialog box and click OK.
- Open the NetWorker User program and click Backup.
- Select the data to back up.

From the
File menu, select
Special Handling.
The Special Handling dialog box appears.

Select the handling method for the backup data:
- Password Protect
- Password Protect and Encrypt

- Click Start to start the backup.
