Recovery storage node selection for synthetic full backups
The storage node that is used for recovery depends on whether the required volume is mounted.
If the required volume is already mounted, then the storage node where the volume is mounted is used for recovering data.
If the required volume is not mounted, then the recovery storage node is selected based on the value in the Recover storage node attribute on the Globals (2 of 2) tab of the Client Properties dialog box for the Client resource. Select View Diagnostic Mode in the Administration interface to access the Recover storage node attribute in the Client Properties dialog box.
