Change the Connection Timeout for a Windows Server

You can configure the maximum time in seconds that Dell Storage Manager waits for a response for queries sent to the Server Agent.

1. Click the Servers view.
2. In the Servers pane, select a Windows server.
3. In the right pane, click Edit Settings. The Edit Settings dialog box appears.
4. In the Connection Timeout field, type a new timeout in seconds.
   • The default is 300 seconds.
   • The minimum value is 180 seconds.
   • The maximum value is 1200 seconds.
5. Click OK.
