Set the Maximum Memory for a Data Collector on a Virtual Appliance
Use the Edit Settings dialog box the vSphere Web Client to set the maximum amount of memory to allocate to a Data Collector on a Virtual Appliance.
Steps
- In the vSphere Web Client, right-click on the Storage Manager Virtual Appliance and select to shut down the Virtual Appliance.

Right-click on the
Virtual Appliance and select
Edit Settings.
The Edit Settings dialog box opens.
- Type the maximum amount of memory to allocate for the Virtual Appliance in the Memory field.
- Right-click on the Storage Manager Virtual Appliance and select to start the Virtual Appliance
