Scan for New Disks
Scanning for disks recognizes new disks and allows them to be assigned to a disk folder.
Steps
- If the Dell Storage Manager Client is connected to a Data Collector, select a Storage Center from the Storage view.
- Click the Storage tab.

In the Storage tab navigation pane, select Disks, then click Scan For Disks.
The Scan For Disks operation runs. After the scan completes, a confirmation dialog box opens.
- Click OK.
