View Amount of Space Saved for a Storage Type
Storage Center determines the total percentage of space saved for all volumes in a storage type by comparing the amount of space processed by Data Reduction to the amount of space used after data reduction.
Steps
- If the Dell Storage Manager Client is connected to a Data Collector, select a Storage Center from the Storage view.
- Click the Storage tab.
- In the Storage tab navigation pane, expand Storage Types.
- Select a Storage Type. The space saved by Data Reduction is displayed at the bottom of the Summary tab.
- Select a storage type.
The space saved by data reduction is displayed in the Data Reduction Savings section.
