Disaster Recovery Administration Options
Use Dell Storage Manager to prepare for DR, activate DR, and restore failed volumes. To make sure that a site outage does not prevent you from accessing Dell Storage Manager to perform DR operations, you can optionally install a remote Data Collector at a DR site.
A remote Data Collector provides access to Dell Storage Manager DR options when the primary Data Collector is unavailable. In the event that the primary Data Collector is unavailable, use a locally installed Client to connect to the remote Data Collector.
