Rename an Individual Controller
The controller name can be changed without affecting the name of the Storage Center.
Steps
- If the Dell Storage Manager Client is connected to a Data Collector, select a Storage Center from the Storage view.
- Click the Hardware tab.
- In the Hardware tab navigation pane, select the controller.
- In the right pane, click Edit Settings. The Edit Settings dialog box appears.
- In the Name field, type a new name for the controller.
- Click OK.
