Creating VVol Datastores
Storage containers must first be defined on the Storage Center before vCenter can use the storage container. After a storage container is created, vCenter is able to create VVol-based VMs in the storage container. When you use the Create Datastore action using Dell Storage Manager, you create datastores of the type VVOL and specify the storage container to hold the datastore.
