Expand a Volume
Expand the size of a volume if more space is needed.
Steps
- If the Dell Storage Manager Client is connected to a Data Collector, select a Storage Center from the Storage view.
- Click the Storage tab.
- In the Storage tab navigation pane, select the volume you want to expand.

In the right pane, click Expand Volume.
The Expand Volume dialog box opens.
- Type a new size for the volume, then click OK.
NOTE:Expanding a volume to a configured size greater than half the supported maximum volume size, as defined in the Storage Center Release Notes, will no longer support view volumes
