Change the Type for a Replication
A replication can be changed from synchronous to asynchronous or asynchronous to synchronous with no service interruption.
Prerequisites
The source and destination Storage Centers must be running version 6.5 or later.
Steps
- Click the Replications & Live Volumes view.
- On the Replications tab, select the replication, then click Edit Settings. The Edit Replication Settings dialog box appears.
- In the Type area, select Asynchronous or Synchronous.
- Click OK.
