show snmp engineID

Displays the SNMP engine ID on the switch or on remote devices that access the SNMP agent on the switch.

Syntax
show snmp engineID {local | remote}
Parameters
  • local — Display the local engine ID.
  • remote — Display the SNMP engine ID of remote devices configured on the switch.
Defaults
None

Usage Information
To configure the local engine ID or the engine ID for a remote device, use the snmp-server engineID command.
Example
OS10# show snmp engineID remote
Remote Engine ID     IP-addr     Port
0x0712               1.1.1.1     23

OS10# show snmp engineID local
Local default SNMP engineID: 0x80001f880390b11cf4abe7
